Digital Forensics Incident Response Analyst

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in computer forensics to include incident response related analysis on network attacks
+ Deep understanding of filesystem analysis using various toolsets in operating systems such as MacOS, Windows, and Linux/Unix
+ Deep knowledge of collection and analysis of volatile data to include live response and memory analysis
+ Experience with performing behavioral analysis on malicious files for Windows and MacOS
+ Be able to approach problems with flexibility and maintain an imaginative intelligence towards finding solutions
+ Ability to multi-task on cases and task without impacting performance
+ Having an investigative and stay curious mindset to be able to learn and discover how unfamiliar technology works
+ Strong collaboration skills to work alongside a team
Apple seeks an extraordinary Digital Forensics Engineer with a proven history of digital forensics and incident response analysis expertise. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for their work and want to make a difference. Within this role, the DFI member will be responsible for conducting disk-based forensics, analyzing collected logs or network-related data to support findings for IR engagements, delivering results to business partners, and driving innovation for new processes.
**Education & Experience**
BS in Computer/Network related study or equivalent experience/skills
+ Strong Plus:
+ - Experience with coding languages such as Python, Objective C, Swift, C++, Bash, Java, etc.
+ - Experience with decompiler tools to perform static analysis on various binaries
+ - Experience with live response tooling and log aggregation solutions
+ - Past Law Enforcement / Government experience for expert testimony, evidence handling, and complex investigations
