**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting Services team will build and maintain CEC & other company reporting. This role will include design, build, and maintaining of the reporting pipeline and platform. The CEC Reporting Analyst will work directly with the CEC stakeholders to determine reporting requirements to support business operations and performance management. The CEC Reporting Analyst will work with stakeholders to gather requirements and build visualizations to help the business identify, diagnose, and action the performance information. The CEC Reporting Analyst will work with data engineers, business analysts and other operational stakeholders.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Required Education and Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or related major.

+ 2+ years of continuous professional experience in analytical/reporting role and/or comparable continuous experience working with Marriott business analytics data

+ 2 + years of continuous use and experience with Intermediate to Advanced level SQL Query Skills in at least one tool: SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, MySQL, SOQL, T-SQL,Apex , NoSQL, Postgre SQL

+ 2 + years of continuous use and experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

+ 2+ years consistent use and experience with Microsoft Office in a professional role: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

+ 2+ years consistent use and experience with SQL for data gathering, analysis and presentations

+ Experience in visualizations and reporting techniques

+ Ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on business needs

**Preferred Experience**

+ Knowledge of Marriott and the hospitality industry

+ 2+ years’ experience in finance, lodging and/or consulting related discipline

+ 2+ years’ experience in a multi-call center operations environment

+ Consulting and project management skills highly valued

+ Marriott sales, finance and/or operations analysis experience

+ Experience with Marriott’s business applications including Productivity Systems (e.g., telephony systems, IEX, MARSHA ) and Technical Systems (e.g., CTI, IVR)

+ 2+ years’ experience with business intelligence platforms for data reporting and analysis (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)

+ Experience with general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, R)

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**

+ Communicate with CEC stakeholders and BA leadership to gather requirements and timeline for reporting requests

+ Conduct routine reviews of existing reporting to standardize and optimize speed/functionality

+ Ensure reports are accessible by appropriate user groups, and in a structure that is easily accessible

+ Partner with Data Services team to construct ETLs to bring in data

+ Prepare the detailed systems specifications for translations into structured applications with the necessary interfaces into other systems or across platforms

+ Build SQL code to collect relevant and reliable data

+ Use Alteryx to automate workflows and generate audits

+ Build Visual Studio layout to align with stakeholders’ functional and aesthetic needs

+ Create Stored Procedures to enable modular, efficient reporting data-flow

+ Update and rebuild existing reporting, as business needs change

+ Organize, coordinate and conduct system integration testing

+ Work with leadership and stakeholders to identify and resolve report inconsistencies and errors

+ Identify any underlying, fundamental gaps or design flaws and escalate to leadership

+ Create documentation to help facilitate future research

+ Develop datasets and reports to meet business unit reporting and data needs

**California Applicants Only:** The salary range for this position is $66,560.00 to $134,991.00 annually.

**Colorado Applicants Only:** The salary range for this position is $63,150.00 to $122,722.00 annually.

**Hawaii Applicants Only:** The salary range for this position is $76,410.00 to $134,991.00 annually.

**New York Applicants Only:** The salary range for this position is $63,150.00 to $134,991.00 annually.

**Washington Applicants Only:** The salary range for this position is $67,724.80 to $134,991.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
