OR Care Technician II

OR Care Tech II Responsibilities:

Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Includes all the job responsibilities of a OR Care Tech I, expanding them to an advanced level. Duties include but are not limited to established knowledge of creating and maintaining a sterile field, scrubbing and assisting within the surgical procedure and the use of specialized beds and positioning equipment, as well as sterilizers and specialized video equipment, Navigation, and lasers used with the department. Functions as a preceptor for new staff.

**Requirements:**

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ High School or Equivalent

+ Required - 1 year - Patient Care; Or - 1 year - Surgical Related.

+ Preferred - Preferred - 2 years - Patient Care.
