**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** is searching for an **Industrial Engineer** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Our team supports operational and business improvement across 1800 employees located in Utah, Ohio, California and Mississippi. **This position will be located in Clearfield, UT.**
We have a variety of shifts available to support a 24/7 operation. We offer both 3 and 4 day shifts to cover days, nights and weekends.
Travel is estimated to 10%.
+ Provide support to the manufacturing floor by working proactively with cross-functional teams to understand frontline problems and implement cost-saving solutions.
+ Utilize various Continuous Improvement tools to analyze shop floor practices and processes for opportunities to minimize scrap, reduce cost, increase capacity and optimize schedule.
+ Work with frontline leadership to assess current state reality and define future state possibilities
+ Provide tactics and training to frontline leaders and shop floor personnel to improve the current state and facilitate value generation
+ Train and Mentor Associate Level IE's
+ Conduct studies and generate metrics pertaining to efficiency, cycle times, work-in-progress, manpower, cost performance, and product delivery.
+ Partner with manufacturing management to develop and track recovery plans that instill confidence within program management and customers
+ Apply systems thinking in the development of metrics to improve product flow from the release of raw materials through product delivery.
+ Provide capacity planning, rate tool analyses, and facility layouts to ensure the ongoing success of composite operations.
+ 2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters OR 6 years experience in lieu of degree
+ Experience with continuous improvement methodologies including, but not limited to, Toyota Production System, Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma and Agile manufacturing etc.
+ Ability to work on an assembly floor
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access
+ Strong expertise using the full suite of Microsoft Office Tools
+ Experience building scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints
+ Current DoD clearance
+ Special Program Access
+ Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or business environment
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)

Salary Range: $64,600.00 - $97,000.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
