**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** is seeking an Intern in the area of Non-destructive Evaluation/Inspection. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Aerospace Structures Business Unit Inspections Development Group.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

+ Perform a variety of duties in the NDI Laboratory related to Nondestructive Inspections (NDI).

+ Help develop NDI laboratory inspection techniques, including ultrasonics, thermography, shearography, and other disciplines.

+ Construct, troubleshoot, and test laboratory equipment and scan setups.

+ Assist in nondestructive inspections of aerospace composite materials.

+ Assist with NDI data analysis, presentation/report generation, and publications.

**Basic Qualifications:**

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

+ Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduate after August 2023.

+ Be majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher

+ Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & team-work capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

+ Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023.

Salary Range: $20.75 - $33.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
