Part of the systems engineering job family responsible for the oversight, design, development and maintenance of Windows Systems for Fifth Third Bank. Works with technical staff to resolve hardware and software problems, coordinates projects and implements new technologies and systems of a high level of complexity. Acts as team leader on projects and serves as liaison for management. Seen as expert in field.

While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Functions as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging of Windows System Hardware and Operating Systems.
+ Develops project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects and communicates this information to senior management and the business unit.
+ Works independently designing and developing new Windows System solutions.
+ Plays a key role as the lead technical architect for projects. Responsible for detailed technical architecture and design for complex projects. Delegates assignments to other staff members.
+ Oversees the advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution functions for Windows Systems.
+ Acts as the highest-level technical expert addressing Windows System problems. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.
+ Provides strategic development recommendations to specific business applications areas as it relates to the recommendation, installation and networking of new Windows Systems.
+ Researches new technologies and recommends process improvement solutions as it relates to the recommendation, installation and networking of new Windows Systems.
+ Designs builds, implements and maintains Citrix and Remote Access Infrastructure
+ Troubleshoot and support lines of business and employees using the Citrix environment.
+ Responsible for systems performance and resolution of production incidents, which may require 24x7 coverage.
+ Other duties as required.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent, with 6-8 years of experience.
+ Deep knowledge of Windows System Hardware and Operating Systems required.
+ Knowledge of Active Directory, VMWare, SAN/NAS, security/hardening, scripting, and Management Systems required.
+ Microsoft Certifications preferred.
+ Familiar with SCCM/Config Manager/MEM Current Branch
+ High level of proficiency with creating, managing, and updating OSD task sequences
+ Troubleshooting image and system build process
+ Demonstrated knowledge of SCCM SQL databases, access, tables, and maintenance
+ Understanding of packaging and application building process
+ Well versed in deploying, updating, and servicing Windows 10 in a large, dispersed environment
+ Comfortable deploying and troubleshooting OS and applications on Dell and Lenovo systems
+ Knowledge of on-prem MS Active Directory
+ Familiar with Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Office 365 deployments, WebEx
+ Experienced with Active Directory & Group Policy management
+ Extensive knowledge of Citrix projects (ie. XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop etc)
+ BitLocker encryption experience is a plus.
