GENERAL FUNCTION:

As part of 5/3’s growing digital marketing team, this leadership role is responsible for account acquisition by developing strategic media plan, spearheading net new digital re-marketing capabilities, and managing the activation to deliver business results. The Performance Marketing Director will have close alignment and collaboration with business stakeholders to understand overall strategic objectives so that digital media and re-marketing plans can drive business outcomes. This role will collaborate with marketing leaders, analytics and marketing technology, to provide digital performance media expertise and ensure that campaigns are optimized continuously and executed flawlessly. The Performance Marketing Director will have a deep working knowledge of SEM, social media, programmatic display, affiliate marketing, digital video and email marketing, as well as key digital marketing technology stack.

While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Lead development of the performance media and re-marketing strategy that acquires profitable customers

+ Work with leadership and analytics team to determine acquisition marketing budgets

+ Oversee delivery of performance media and re-marketing program to maximize return on investment

+ Build and lead team in SEM, social and other digital media bidding, buying and execution

+ Establish a new program to re-market to abandoned visitors and acquire incremental customers

+ Implement an agile testing framework and a deep pipeline of optimizing and sourcing for growth

+ Develop and implement an attribution solution across multiple marketing channels (e.g., search, social, display, online video, email)

+ Stay on top of the latest development in media and technologies to advance 5/3’s digital marketing capabilities

+ Build and manage a high-performing, hands-on media team

+ Build productive relationships with internal and external teams

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

+ Bachelor's Degree plus 10-12 years' experience in performance marketing or demand generation with experience in digital ad operations and agency management

+ Track record of driving growth via digital marketing and managing multi-million dollar media budget

+ Strong e-commerce background with analytical approach and rigorous testing to customer acquisition

+ Experience with third party ad platforms and software (e.g., Kenshoo, Adobe, Google and Meta marketing platforms).

+ Working knowledge of marketing automation solutions and be able to create successful customer acquisition and retention programs

+ Must be able to lead others in the development, direction and execution of digital marketing initiatives

+ Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities across stakeholders

+ Proven ability to work successfully across teams to create alignment and deliver results

+ Experience managing a hands-on, acquisition media team

+ Experience managing remote team a plus
