We are looking for a technical leader to be our Cape Girardeau Plant IT Leader. The Plant IT Leader will lead all digital work within the site and ensure that the Digital Masterplan compliments the plant’s P&G Product Supply Integrated Work System processes. They will lead a multi-functional digital team at the site that is focused on transforming the plant to a digital lead site and ensuring that the IT and OT deliver the site operational targets, are compliant, and deliver substantial value creation results. They are expected to be part of the site leadership team and partner across the operations to create and ensure digital plans for the site meet and exceed plant targets. This is a leadership role within the manufacturing plant to ensure that the digital and automation program is in sync with delivering operational results and advanced IWS capability within the site.
This role will report to the Business Unit IT Operations Senior Director and be accountable to the plant manager. This person will have responsibility for at least 2 direct reports and will need to partner across the site to influence the work plans of key users, department teams, and support organizations to ensure that the site needs are achieved. The role is seen as a “CIO of the Plant” and is expected to be a technology leader within the manufacturing plant and will require on-the-floor leadership. This role will require occasional travel (<10%), and will be expected to be physically present on site, consistent with other site leaders. The experienced gained in this role also provides a springboard to ongoing P&G career opportunities in the US and globally.
Responsibilities will include:
+ Partner across highly matrixed organization to ensure site masterplan is delivered.
+ Visible and on the floor leadership for all site employees.
+ Ensuring and influencing site digital team is staffed and has established daily management systems to ensure site results are met.
+ Site digital masterplan is created and maintained to support short- and long-term site plans, transforming the plant into a leading example of digitization for breakthrough results.
+ Integrating digital and site capability needs to ensure the site achieves advanced IWS phases
+ Ensuring that business operations Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and that unplanned down times do not occur.
+ All critical incidents have root cause and countermeasures do not repeat.
+ Ensure all site IT and OT systems are compliant to P&G standards and policies.
+ Have accountability to drive Innovation via IT capabilities by connecting what is needed with what is possible at their site and integrate into the digital strategy.
+ 7+ years of Leadership experience. This role is a visible leader within the manufacturing plant and will require our technology leader to have experience in leading multifunctional teams and be able to influence to ensure digital plans are on track.
