3KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our KPMG Spectrum practice.
+ Responsible for both technical engineering and operational support for the installation, configuration, maintenance, high availability, tuning, backup and recovery and support of the Oracle DB platform and related support tools; Install\maintain\update Oracle Database environments, Manage Database instances and tunes the logical and physical database design
+ Interact with development\application teams as required, will gather client requirements, will lead technical conversations related to DB development tasks and platform level tasks; demonstrate the ability to interface well with technical personnel, end users, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior level stakeholders as required
+ Create and maintain system documentation related to the Database platform and its implementations and be closely involved in the application lifecycle and with other supporting teams of hosted applications where the DB is involved
+ Perform Database tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, incident management, problem management, load testing of new and existing application code\environments\infrastructure and peer review of software engineer's database code
+ Participate in QA testing for supported application environments to develop deployment process in coordination with the DevOps and Operations team members
+ Manage Database access\authorization details and Work as part of an Agile team; gather requirements in the form of user stories and manage sprints
+ Minimum five years of recent experience in the maintenance of a distributed Oracle Database Systems
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent work experience
+ Strong experiences in all aspects of Oracle implementation, Oracle Middleware Administration, designing schemas for OLTP database, automated or unit testing of database code and SSIS\SSRS
+ Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to generate complex SQL queries from an entity-relationship diagram and query tuning skills
+ Experience with AWS\Azure DBaaS Oracle implementations (RDS, AzureSQL) and familiarity with DevOps deployment practices
+ OCP Certification in 11g or newer version preferred
+ Ability to travel as necessary
