Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Integration & Separation for our Deal Advisory practice.


+ Consult with clients on due diligence, post-deal execution, and/or performance improvement projects; identify risk exposure related to HR back-office, compensation plans and benefit platforms in HR Due Diligence; Perform HR post-deal execution with respect to M&A, spin-offs and carve-outs in industry and Private Equity firms

+ Work with KPMG's cross functional Strategy teams on the HR portion of performance improvement to include HR and Human Capital strategy, HR service delivery, HR operations, people related compliance, compensation and benefits, organizational design, talent management, and change management

+ Manage the engagement process from start to finish, including managing several HR work streams simultaneously, setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, creation and coordination of client-ready deliverables with KPMG's integration and separation teams, and assist with communication of results with clients

+ Develop, coach, and mentor junior team members


+ A minimum of five years' experience in either HR Due Diligence or developing/implementing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration and separation services within a consulting advisory firm with a focus on human capital, human resources, organization design, talent selection and leadership assessments, talent management or change management

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

+ Additional industry deal experience as part of a corporate development team with operational exposure across primary corporate functions (e.g. HR, IT, Finance, and Legal)

+ Experience managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle

+ Excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, facilitation and presentation skills

+ Travel may be up to 80-100%; Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
