Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Advisory Services practice.


+ Lead day-to-day execution of Enterprise Risk Management services for clients across various industries; including evaluating and designing governance frameworks and risk management programs; assessing governance and risk management effectiveness; designing risk and compliance reporting frameworks; conducting leading practice reviews; developing training programs; and supporting companies' transformation of enterprise risk management programs

+ Provide analytical support to develop and implement formal ERM methodologies including the identification, assessment, prioritization, tracking, mitigation and reporting of risks

+ Design and develop risk assessments, surveys, dashboards, scorecards and reports using appropriate metrics (key risk indicators, loss event data, emerging risks, control effectiveness) to support the executive team in its evaluation and reporting of enterprise risk

+ Participate in firm go-to-market activities, identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of proposals

+ Listen to client needs and apply collaborative critical thinking to solve complex client problems and lead client presentations with senior leadership and board of directors

+ Coach, mentor and train staff, as well as other team members; assist in the management of the overall engagement including plans, budgets and schedules


+ Minimum five years of recent experience in assurance, controls and / or corporate compliance-related experience, including consulting, auditing, risk management, or operational roles within various industries

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; CPA, CIA or CISA or comparable certification preferred

+ Advanced knowledge of risk, controls, accounting and / or information technology operations, as well as command of COSO ERM or ISO 31000 frameworks; advanced problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to use data effectively to identify and resolve issues

+ Prior experience leading teams and managing projects and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements; Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives

+ Ability to travel up to 50%
