Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Technology Enablement for our Consulting practice.
+ Lead the overall design and development of client IoT applications on Microsoft Azure
+ Collaborate with business leads to help develop a technical vision for the entire ecosystem as well as lead implementation teams all the way through post-production
+ Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security
+ Minimum five years of recent software development experience building large scale distributed systems and a minimum two years of hands-on IoT, Industry 4.0 or Digital Transformation experience
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure IoT Hub and related components like Azure Defender, Azure IoT Edge, Azure Stack, Azure Service Bus, Azure Web App
+ Hands on experience in Azure IoT development platform (.Net application development, Installation and configuration of Azure IoT platform) and strong understanding of Timeseries database, Datalake, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL / SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL, OSI-PI
+ Understanding of cloud infrastructure; security and operations to ensure the scalability and maintainability of cloud native applications in public cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and versed in cloud security, particularly as it relates to SaaS deployments; deep knowledge and understanding of developing connections with sensors and Edge computing
+ Experience with container runtimes and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes and Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
+ Ability to travel as needed
