We are seeking a dynamic **Epic MyChart Specialty Application Lead** to join our MyChart team with IS Clinical Systems here at Rush University Medical Center!
**This is a Full Time position**
**80 hours every two weeks**
The Epic MyChart Specialty Application Lead provides hands-on expertise to deploy solutions for the Rush enterprise. The Epic Application Lead works as a member of the Clinical Information Systems team that will support Epic's MyChart, Welcome, Telehealth, and Care Everywhere applications as well as other business applications requested by Rush. Under minimal supervision, leads small teams in analyzing problems in terms of Rush workflows/policies/procedures, Epic functionality, end-user knowledge, and training requirements. He/she is a recognized expert for his/her application(s) and applies knowledge of Epic functionality to address Rush issues. Leads or participates in end-user design and validation meetings and supports roll-out of new implementations by coordinating or participating in end-user acceptance testing, design of training modules, integrated testing and command center support. Supports live applications and sites by sharing on-call support, monitoring Help Desk tickets and designing enhancement and optimization solutions. Advises users and committees on information systems issues. _Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures._

+ Leads medium sized teams (~up to 10 personnel) for medium duration projects (~up to 8 months) and/or system support and optimization
+ Maintains communication with all team members to ensure conformance with requirements of each project and user expectations.

**Position Qualifications Include** :
+ Minimum 5 years experience
+ Experience with the following Epic modules highly desirable: MyChart, Welcome, and Care Everywhere, certification optional
+ Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, information systems or health care related field
+ Implementation experience in a health care setting
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills with technical and clinical audiences
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Independent and resourceful
+ Well versed in overall business functions
+ Command of common office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office suite)
+ Experience with MS Project
+ Experience with Epic's Clarity data model is desirable
