Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. The safety and well-being of our people continues to be the top priority, and our decisions around travel are informed by government COVID-19 response directives, recommendations from leading health authorities, and guidance from a number of infectious disease experts. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. At some point in the future and with the safety of people as the critical factor, the travel requirement will likely increase, possibly to previous levels, but KPMG is committed to balancing client requirements with new delivery capabilities.

KPMG is currently seeking a Director in CIO Advisory for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead client engagements and be responsible for the quality and on-time creation of project deliverables

+ Identify and communicate engagement findings to client management

+ Direct business and market development efforts including identifying opportunities, developing relationships, scoping prospective engagements, and developing proposals

+ Assist with developing or updating firm methodologies regarding infrastructure operations

+ Present thought leadership at internal training classes, external events, and client environments and work across KPMG service lines to identify teaming opportunities

+ Lead and provide performance management for staff

Qualifications:

+ A minimum of eight years of work experience in professional services consulting firm and/or technology management roles

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master's degree from an accredited college/university preferred

+ Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and a strong business development track record; experience leading client delivery teams and solid project management skills,

+ Experience with developing IT Strategy

+ Demonstrated ability to assess and enhance IT processes within an organization and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams along with demonstrated knowledge of IT operations, systems, architecture, data-centric issues, and considerations

+ Travel as needed
