Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Transformation Delivery for our Consulting practice.
+ Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements in compliance with firm and practice service delivery standards and utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex business client issues and provide actionable solutions
+ Manage and provide leadership and mentorship to teams of staff level professionals for overall Transformation Delivery and/or Change Management work streams
+ Utilize technical and industry knowledge in the areas of Change Management, Organizational Development and human centered design to identify complex client issues and provide actionable solutions
+ Develop long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and demonstrate ability to sell new opportunities with existing relationships
+ Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities within existing client projects and account focus, as well as assisting with proposal responses through functional and industry focus and develop strong relationships across KPMG service networks; lead and contribute to the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers and training efforts
+ Coach and develop teams by providing clear, behaviorally specific performance feedback and specific performance suggestions for improvement in a manner that builds confidence and fosters a safe environment
+ Minimum eight years of relevant work experience related to consulting in Change Management and Human-Centered Design, User Experience Design, Design Thinking; four years in Advisory services within a major consulting firm and experience leading large scale business transformation projects
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college/university; MBA or an advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
+ Experience designing and leading full life cycle implementation business transformation projects based on a deep understanding of business processes, change management methodologies, human centered design and Organizational Development
+ Strong demonstrated ability in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data and structure information
+ Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff-level professionals and excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
+ Working knowledge in scoping, project management, budget management and staffing projects and experience with and knowledge of change management and design thinking/ human centered design and previous experience in scoping, project management, budget management and staffing projects and experience managing a portfolio of activities within a project or team; previous experience in setting priorities and balancing competing deadlines desired
+ Travel may be up to 80-100%
