**Job Description:**

Negotiates agreements of mid-to high-level complexity and regularly obtains significant cost savings. Identifies the critical elements of a deal and develops a procurement strategy which best serves the interests of BAC. Responsible for the quality of assigned deals including process adherence, substance of the deal, and accurate data capture. Has subject matter expertise in numerous categories and is viewed as trusted advisor by the FLU. Will frequently support the development of category strategies and may also have category ownership responsibilities. May support Front Line Unit (FLU)/Control Function (CF) personnel in effectively implementing the Third Party Policy, including FLUs/CFs effective use of third parties.

This role is within the Global Procurement organization. Global Procurement has leading capabilities to deliver and enable procurement strategies and needs for our lines of business. Our operating model is guided by strategy, aligned to the business, is centered on a process and control framework, and is enabled by technology. The Procurement teams are the single point of contact for the businesses across all functional areas and accountable to deliver end-to-end capabilities across the Third Party Process lifecycle.

This role sits within our CAO and Enterprise Services Sourcing Team, which supports a wide variety of corporate services areas. Specifically, the role will support requirements in the Enterprise Services function, Corporate Travel and Meetings/Events functions.

Negotiates contracts using best practices, assists the business owner in creating business requirements including schedules/ statements of work, and service level agreements

Comfortable with legal contract concepts (e.g. limitation of liability, indemnification) and able to articulate Bank of America's position and rationale for all terms

Work routinely with risk partners (Legal, Compliance, Ops, Info Sec, etc.) in negotiating deals and in managing third-party risk

Communicate, partner, and influence across a matrixed organization

**Required Skills:**

Experience in third party outsourcing or purchasing of goods and services including bidding (RFP/ RFI) and contracting

Contract negotiation skillset and experience

Ability to connect market intelligence to actionable procurement tactics

Self-starter, with capability of working autonomously across multiple procurement projects and able to prioritize workload

Proactive, conscientious and high level of attention to detail

Strong communicator and able to build and manage relationships with business partners across various teams

Skilled user of MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)  

**Desired Skills:**

Possesses an ability to think creatively / critically and connect ideas, events and circumstances to provide procurement solutions

•Prior experience negotiating corporate services contracts

• Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or equivalent certification
