Lead Finance Analyst

**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to help tell the story of Wells Fargo. The Analyst will be a key player in the maintenance of our internal management reporting platform. This information is used by management to help understand internal business unit performance, and the results are also shared externally in our segment reporting results in the 10-Q and 10-K. Our management reporting system results also support Recovery and Resolution Planning, and are reviewed by our regulators. The Lead Finance Analyst will have particular focus on the administration of Recovery and Resolution processes, and some of the more complicated management reporting subjects such as Funds Transfer Pricing and Capital Allocation. The Lead Finance Analyst will also help with process improvement and the integration of legacy processes with modern tools as part of the Finance Transformation Office team. Control design, maintenance and automation are in-scope for the position.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance

+ Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions

+ Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

+ Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation

+ Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

+ Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

+ Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide

+ Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Exposure to Recovery and Resolution Planning Concepts

+ Exposure to Capital Allocation, and Funds Transfer Pricing

+ Experience with Banking Financial Statements

+ Experience with Banking Enterprise Forecasting and Reporting

+ WF Finance Tools (Essbase, EPM, Dodeca, PowerBI, Alteryx) experience is a plus

**Job Expectations:**

+ Position requires working within the Agile Framework, using Jira tools

+ Both Production and Development Activities will be executed reliably

+ Stakeholder outreach and change leadership are required

+ Communciation skills are required, including the ability to comunicate complicated topics in lay terms
