Be part of a senior engineering management team developing and implementing processes and products to sustain Honeywell's growth in the marketplace. You will lead, empower and motivate engineering teams responsible for the design and development of products and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will strategically plan and lead large teams involved in major programs and critical technical initiatives. You will work effectively across geographical boundaries and act as a change agent. You will analyze the market for competitive intelligence information and develop new growth opportunities.
You are going to build and lead a team for Honeywell’s Personal Protective Equipment that is specific to Healthcare where safety and efficacy is critical to patients and healthcare workers.
You will be part of a senior engineering management team - developing and implementing processes and products to sustain Honeywell's growth in the marketplace. You will have the opportunity to:
· Lead, empower and motivate engineering teams and take responsibility for the design and development of products and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
· Strategically plan and lead large teams involved in major programs and critical technical initiatives.
· Work across geographical boundaries and act as a change agent.
· Analyze the market for competitive intelligence information and develop new growth opportunities.
+ Build and grow a talented team to meet or exceed annual STRAP
+ Lead the team through an Agile, Customer-Focused NPI process (MVOs), which result in Flawless Launches
+ Create an innovation pipeline and establish a Management Operating System to drive growth through partnerships, developments, and acquisitions
+ Create a culture where the team meets or exceed Say/Do metrics
+ Mentor and coach talent as well as develop career and succession plans
+ Develop and drive Annual Operating Plans
+ 7+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role
+ Built and led engineering cross-functional teams of 25+ team members
+ Prior experience leading engineering teams in product development for medical products or a similar highly regulated industry
+ Change management experience with cross functional teams to improve operational metrics and revenue generation
+ Able to thrive in a results-oriented environment
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
+ Being able to navigate and execute quickly in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, CSA, ATEX/IECEx, TUV), but always putting Safety first
+ Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to foster a culture where mistakes will happen, but we learn from them, and ensure that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are put in place
+ Able to lead by example, maintain a positive attitude, big-picture perspective, and personal accountability
+ Prior experience leading a global development team in a matrixed, global organization
+ Market focused mindset and ability to anticipate changes in customer's needs
Advanced degree in engineering or related filed, business degree is
