**Job Description:**

Effective credit risk management and reporting contributes to providing a clear understanding of current and emerging risks at Bank of America, and to proactively manage risk across the enterprise. The Credit Risk Data and Reporting team sits within Enterprise Credit Risk and is responsible for producing timely, accurate, and actionable data, reporting, dashboards and analysis that is used to identify, monitor and manage credit risk across Bank of America. The Credit Risk Data and Reporting team works in close partnership with peers in Risk, Technology, Finance, Lines of Business and other partners to deliver integrated Credit Risk data and reporting capabilities. All of this ensures the bank can deliver responsible growth within our risk framework.

The Risk Data and Analysis Specialist will use their business and technical knowledge to support data and reporting across Credit Risk, and at various stages of the lifecycle – sourcing data, building new and validating existing reports, implementing enhancements, remediating data issues, and identifying opportunities for consolidation and elimination, all within defined delivery and production schedules. The team is focused on automation and uses business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and SAS. The successful candidate will demonstrate familiarity with SQL and building reports, assessment of the use of data, and project planning and management of ad hoc reporting and data requests, while partnering across data, technology and reporting teams in support of strategic initiatives.

Additionally, the team frequently supports the wider risk organization by providing timely ad-hoc data and analysis, such as in response to market or geo-political events and regulatory requests. The Risk Analysis Specialist will display intellectual curiosity and set themselves a high standard in terms of governance, documentation and controls.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

+ 2+ years of relevant experience in a reporting and/or data role, ideally focused on credit risk

+ Experienced using SQL and relational databases, in particular extracting data with complex queries

+ Proficient with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS or SAS.

+ Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis and data connections

**Desired Skills and Experience:**

+ Familiar with data management and governance such as BCBS 239 or SOX controls

+ Experience with Risk Management, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting processes

**Jersey City pay range:**

$65,000 - $115,000

annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
