Inventory Controller II - Manufacturing

As an **Inventory Controller II** , you’ll ensure the inventory statement is true to our actual inventory (Finished Goods, Packaging, Raw) by managing, reconciling, leading and/or supporting technology initiatives, training, and process improvement projects. **HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

+ **Fresh Thinking** – You will reviewing all previous 24-hour inventory movements and reconciling DLx and SAP inventory variance. Understanding processes, functional interdependencies, and recognizing and escalating issues identified as opportunities to improve plant performance.

+ **Drive Efficiency** – You will manage quality hold inventory, coordinating with Quality Supervisor and ensure all outbound orders have been post-goods issued and inbound orders have been post-goods received.

+ **Collaborate to Win** - Proactively engaging in the development and training of hourly labor and supporting talent management process for hourly employees.

+ **Take a New Angle** – Supporting the execution of relevant projects while ensuring Diversity and Inclusion meets / exceeds corporate standards

+ **Set the Pace** - Complying with food safety policies and proper sanitary condition at all times. In addition, you will be analyzing quality, damaged, and liquidated product status.

**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**

Required:

+ High School Diploma/GED and substantial experience with Distribution/Operations/Logistics Inventory Control, OR Associates Degree and frequently demonstrated related work experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and related work experience

+ Must have inventory Control experience

+ Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization

+ to function in a union environment (where applicable) and promote positive employee relations

+ Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

+ Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations

+ Disciplined/detailed planning and flexibility

+ Strong problem solving ability and negotiation skills with internal and external customers

+ Maintain flexibility to work overtime and/or weekends based on inventory needs

Bonus Points:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain and frequently demonstrated related work experience

+ Distribution/Operations/Logistics Inventory Control experience

+ Experience using Microsoft Excel

+ DLX Experience

+ Ability to utilize good business judgment on when to properly escalate areas of concerns to management
