Interact with guests and members: teaching fitness classes, training consultations, and personal training sessions.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for the guests and members at the Athletic Club.
- Must be knowledgeable on resort and Athletic Club services in order to inform guests
- Responsible for ensuring coverage at the front desk, which may include covering meal breaks.
- Responsible for maintaining the environment to be clean and organized at all times.
- Ability to teach classes offered at La Costa Resort and Spa.
- Cover the gym floor, help guests on equipment, with towels, and water.
- Assist Guest Service Agents with scheduling clients.
- Maintain neat, clean professional appearance.
- Degree in Recreation, Business Administration, or Exercise Physiology is preferred but not required.
- Customer Service experience within hospitality, fitness center or other service industry required.
- First Aid/CPR certification recommended.
- Strong computer skills recommended (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Necessary certificates to teach specific classes will need to be current and copies made available to Human Resources to be kept on file.
- Must have availability to work weekends.
