As a Cook, you will prepare food for our patients, staff, and visitors, following safe cooking techniques. You will take pride and have a passion for cooking for those who cannot cook for themselves. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason, and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.

To be successful as a Cook, you should be able to use various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.

+ Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.

+ Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards.

+ Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital.

**Qualifications**

+ Two (2) years Food Service experience.

+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ A Food Handlers Permit is required as outlined below:

**Pay Range**

$10.57 - $14.53 /hour
