**Job Summary:**

This role is a Data engineer in our Enterprise Data and Analytics group. This position will require development of new application functionality as well as maintenance and support of source code via cloud platforms such as Azure data services and Snowflake. You must be expert in designing and developing ETL\ ELT data pipelines.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES &** **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1 .Analyze, design, build, query, troubleshoot and maintain Azure data services.

2. Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data factory.

3. Develop streaming data pipelines and integrate with Snowflake.

4. Write stored procedures in SQL and deploy to Snowflake.

5. Design Azure data lake store.

6. Setup Snowflake pipes, streams, and tasks.

7. Administer FiveTran and Qlik Replicate jobs and setup new objects.

**SKILLS &** **KNOWLEDGE:**

Must have worked on below services and have good hands-on experiences.

1. Azure data factory.

**2. Strong SQL- comfortable in writing complex stored procedures.**

**3.** **Snowflake hands on working experience.**

**4.** **Star schema and Snowflake schema design concepts and strong data modelling skills.**

**5.** **Must have good understanding of distributed systems architecture.**

**6.** **Must have strong ETL/ELT understanding and data warehousing principles.**

**7.** **Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud services.**

8. Apache Kafka streaming development is a strong added benefit.

9. Knowledge of Fivetran is an added benefit

10.Knowledge of Qlik Replicate is an added benefit

**Education Requirements:** 4-year degree or higher

**Years of Experience Required:** 5+ years of experience
