JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Materials Research Institute is seeking a Research Assistant/Associate to perform a variety of specialized tasks associated with designing and conducting research projects/experiments. Specifically, electromagnetic simulation of mm-wave propagation in building structures will be carried out.
SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
o Assist in the development, design, and execution of research projects, under general direction of senior research personnel and according to standard protocols or research plans; contribute to simulations.
o Analyze and perform optimization of sensor structures in an office environment to determine the best placement of mm-wave sensors for 5G and 6G communications
o Write reports, generate publications and deliver presentations and international science and technology meetings.
