Slack is hiring a leader for our Partner Marketing team that works with Slack’s diverse community of strategic technology partners and ISVs (https://slack.com/partners) . This Partner Marketing leader will oversee the strategy for the partner marketing org and be responsible for its impact. They will mentor, lead and grow the team; and create strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across our company.

Slack’s 170,000+ customers (https://slack.com/intl/en-au/customer-stories) use our product across their organizations to transform how they work, moving from siloed email communication to connected, open and faster ways of work. And our partners are critical in enhancing how our customers work, with more than than 2,500 partners (https://community.slack.com/apps) connecting their technology with Slack. This integration of apps and services with Slack makes it simple for teams to be aligned and get more work done together, allowing users to be focused and productive without having to constantly switch in and out of different applications. **What you will be doing:**

+ Defining strategy for our partner marketing work, methods for how we work effectively, and metrics for ensuring our work has high-impact

+ Setting the standard for how our team works with cross-functional partners such as marketing counterparts in Slack and Salesforce, with our Business Development team, and with our Sales & Customer Success team.

+ Creating strategic narratives and integrated marketing plans with our top partners, including campaigns, digital activities, other programs to be delivered through the partner, with the partner, and to the partner.

+ Championing our key partnerships with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers

+ Designing the prominent involvement of Slack partners in our own hosted events such as Slack Frontiers (https://slack.com/frontiers) and Salesforce Dreamforce, and the involvement of Slack in partner-hosted events.

+ Prepare success metrics for sharing with partners such as during partner QBRs, and sharing internally in Slack

+ Act as a key source for our partners of marketing strategy, and Slack positioning and messaging

+ Driving our work to increase external awareness of Slack’s partner opportunities, and to grow our base of highly successful partners

**What you should have**

+ Experience marketing enterprise software to, with and through technology partners and partner communities

+ Experience managing and growing a team

+ The mentality of a builder and a learner — figuring out how to achieve results and establish best practices

+ Ability to operate both in a strategic capacity and a hands-on/execution capacity, bringing creativity and inventive problem solving to your work

+ Proven collaborative experience, driving consensus across diverse teams in multiple departments and functions

+ Excellent communication skills, ranging from the ability to craft brief, high-impact written communications, to presenting to senior executives inside and outside our company

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $140,300. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
