What You Will Do
This specific opening is for a Registered Nurse on our Float Pool. Where an RN floats depends on the experience you bring to the table as well as where the need is for staffing.
This is a per diem tier 3 position. The minimum commitment level for this tier is 96 hours (eight 12-hour shifts) in a six-week cycle. Three of these shifts must be during the weekend. Two holidays per year is required with one a winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day).
The shift for this position isrotating (7A-7:30P and 7P to 7:30A). This position is not benefit eligible.
What You Will Need
- Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association obtained prior to start date or job transfer date.
- Prior / recent work experience as a Registered Nurse in medical / surgical or critical care strongly preferred. Prior float pool experience a plus!
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) credentialed from the American Heart Association preferred.
