Appropriately utilizes x-ray to assist in diagnosis and/or treatment while always adhering to state, regulatory, and Radiation Right guidelines. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by: or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. This position works closely with other healthcare team members to facilitate exceptional patient care and efficient completion of diagnostic studies while also promoting optimal unit operations. The radiologic technologist adheres to the ICARE customer service standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Required: Graduate of an accreditedRadiologic Technology program. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred: 2 years experience in an acute care setting as an x-ray technologist.
Required: Registered Radiologic Technologist byTexas Medical Board; Certified Radiology Tech by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist(ARRT), Current BLS Certification
