**Responsibilities**

+ Work closely with senior engineers on design, development & improvements to state-of-the-art cathodes, electrodes, pumping, gas delivery systems and chambers materials for wafer processing reactors

+ Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics/specifications of moderate scope

+ Perform engineering analysis; perform and document engineering tests

+ Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release

+ Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues

+ Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficultly

+ Implement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions

+ Design, develop and the implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle

**Requirements**

+ Recent graduate with an appetite to grow a career in the semiconductor industry

+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

+ Masters or PhD preferred for key roles requiring advanced subject knowledge

+ Must be in good academic standing. Recommend a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

+ Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions

+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

+ Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus

+ Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture

**Considerations**

+ Previous internship or related experience in field

+ Demonstrated leadership experience in associations

+ Thesis and relevant coursework

+ Patents and publications
