Project Manager

As a Project Manager on the Cloud Interconnection & Acquisitions (CI&A) Team you will contribute to building a world-class network infrastructure by working with Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, subsea, and Lit Wave circuits. With a flexible workplace, you can work from home partially or fully and/or come to the office on a as needed basis.

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Project Manager, you will perform a key role in supporting delivery of the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. + This role is located in - Atlanta, GA, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.

+ Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

+ This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%.

**Responsibilities**

+ Collaborate with managers to identify priorities, allocate resources, and develop action plans to achieve organizational objectives.

+ Assist in the coordination and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.

+ Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining documentation.

+ Facilitate communication and information flow between managers, teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

+ Prepare reports and presentations to summarize project status, key metrics, and performance indicators for management review.

+ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate them.

+ Support managers in the implementation of process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

+ Serve as a point of contact for inquiries, escalations, and coordination among team members and external stakeholders.

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience working as a project manager, technical program manager or data analyst for a telecom company.

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

+ 1+ year(s) experience in project management, technical program management or data analysis with a large telecom company.1+ year(s) experience making PowerBI reports and building SharePoint sites.

**Other Requirements:**

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

**Preferred Qualificaitons:**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ year(s) experience working as a project manager, technical program manager or data analyst for a large telecom company. Over 4 years of experience in project management, technical program management or data analysis with a telecom company.

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 4+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

+ 2+ year(s) of experience in making PowerBI reports and building SharePoint sites.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
