We are looking for an energetic, customer-obsessed and tech-savvy Program Manager to help take our storage technologies to the next level. Job responsibilities will involve:
+ Researching customer / partner scenarios and industry trends to formulate product requirements
+ Analyzing and tracking storage performance characteristics and requirements
+ Building product roadmap for bringing ideas to market
+ Working across Microsoft teams to develop and launch product and platform innovations on schedule
+ Driving customer success
To succeed in this role, you should have:
+ Strong technical background and analytical skills, with the ability to work directly with customers, partners and engineering teams.
+ Passion for technology and platform performance
+ Ability to identify new ways of looking at problems and identifying opportunities.
+ Excellent collaboration, communication and coordination skills are a must for this role.
Creative problem solving skills with the ability to lead virtual teams through ambiguity and, of course, have a clear passion for product, partners and customers.
+ 3+ years of professional technical program or product management experience
+ BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering or related disciplines
+ Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, or related disciplines
+ Strong technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design
+ Knowledge of on-premises storage systems or storage performance is a plus
+ Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to lead and motivate a high-energy team
+ Strong cross-team collaboration skills
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
