Materials Operations Technician
Mission Health is seeking a PRN Materials Operations Technician to join the team!
Role Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to inventory, issue, and distribute all Medical/Surgical and related hospital materials and equipment that are stored in the Materials' Warehouse or Equipment Distribution. This position is accountable and responsible for meeting the supply and equipment needs of departments to ensure excellent patient outcomes and customer satisfaction. It manages the flow of supplies and equipment inventory levels on all assigned areas. This position is responsible for planning and implementing the supply plan, medical supply and equipment rental budget, by managing supply and equipment levels on a unit or department based on their replenishment cycle.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate Degree or some post High School Education
Required License: If hired into a driving role, must have a valid NC driver's license or procure one within 30 days of employment unless an out-of-state commuter, at least two years of satisfactory driving experience and be at least 21 years of age to meet the Mission Health established insurance guidelines.
Preferred Experience: Three to Five years of materials handling, supply, and equipment distribution experience.
