Customer Service Project Manager

We are searching for an experienced Customer Service Project Manager at our Asheville, NC facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Project Manager (CSPM) is the point person once a job has gone live into production. The CSPM is responsible to manage all aspects of the job from order/PO through delivery to the customer, ensuring that the job ships on time and to perform all customer communication necessary to coordinate receipt of art, data and any other components required to successfully complete the job. The CSPM is responsible to work with facility scheduling and each department to set milestones for the customer that must be met to execute the job on schedule.

  • Follow projects through all phases of estimating, quoting, manufacturing and shipping
  • Work with internal teams and customers to get approved art and data files
  • Coordinate receipt of PO, art, data and supplied materials (if any)
  • Review customer PO to Estimate/ Proposal, identify any changes/ deviations
  • Work with scheduling department to get schedule/ customer milestones
  • Communicate milestones to customer
  • Monitor and communicate milestone status to customer
  • Coordinate all approvals with customer (Art, Data, label & affixing)
  • Generate Job Ticket with ERP and ensure customer and order information accuracy in CRM program
  • Work with internal teams to procure specialty items in a timely manner to meet delivery/shipping schedules
  • Ensure all job specs, pricing, and shipping instructions are in place prior to releasing to scheduling and manufacturing
  • Safely perform physical demands as indicated below

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Print and/or multi-project production coordination Experience

Education:

  • Associate Degree or two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Must be highly organized
  • Skilled communicator who can successfully work with both external and internal customers
  • Computer literate must be able to work within PLI's ERP system, intermediate MS office skills are required (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment/ understands sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Work well independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer Focus
