The AVP of Community Engagement reports to the Division Vice President of Marketing. The primary role of the AVP of Community Engagement is to direct and manage community engagement strategies & initiatives through collaboration with enterprise community engagement team and facility directors of PR & communications. The AVP of Community Engagement will oversee the development and implementation of a division-wide community engagement plan strategically aligned to the intersection of business strategy, stakeholder engagement, and community needs.In this capacity, the AVP of Community Engagement is integrally involved in strategic planning and alignment of community engagement with key business priorities. This position has been designed to provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to direct and align community engagement initiatives that will lead to HCA's positive community reputation & relevance in the division.This position requires unique competencies, including systems thinking, orientation to learning, and collaboration. The AVP of Community Engagement must be adept at navigating complex and dynamic systems, connecting and building trust among multiple stakeholders, as well as adapting to dynamic environments.
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master's Degree Preferred
More than 7 years of relevant experience.
Previous experience in institutional community relations or corporate social responsibility is desired.
