Technical Project Manager

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Technical Project Manager-Telecom and Networking Services** to join our team supporting a large U. S. Government program within the National Capital Region.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Primary point of contact with clients and stakeholders. Manage large task order across multiple customers and multiple project types.

+ Ensure delivery of the project from a time, cost and quality perspective.

+ Manage budget and resources needed to ensure consistent, quality deliverables.

+ Ensure collaboration across the projects.

+ Manage end-to-end service delivery, including transitions, on-going operations, customer satisfaction, service quality, improvements, and business planning.

+ Manage projects through all phases of the development life cycle, including initiation, requirements and specifications, design, development, testing, installation, and post implementation review.

+ Work with vendors, project team members and stakeholders to define project scope, resource requirements, budget, timeline, deliverables and milestones.

+ Manage risk throughout the project life cycle and make contingency plans to manage issues that pose risk to budget, time delivery or functionality.

+ Recommend, implement, and use tools to measure project status and performance metrics to ensure deliverables are being met as committed to the customer

+ Select, develop and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the team.

+ Works with recruiting department to recruit, interview and select staff for the project activities.

+ Drive productivity improvement and efficiencies across the teams.

+ Cybersecurity experience, experience managing diverse teams of highly technical personnel, utilizing new technologies is required. Knowledge of Risk Management framework is required.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree and 10 years relevant experience is required. Experience can be substituted for degree.

+ Experience in a technical environment and contract type that requires response to multiple innovation and modernization call orders annually

+ Experience with network transport services and end-to-end solutions and end user devices

+ Experience with installation and configuration of network equipment

+ Experience with modernization of government infrastructure

+ Experience with managing logistics, storage, and transportation of IT equipment

+ Experience with switching, routing, VoIP, network monitoring tools, SAN, Firewall technologies and intrusion detection/prevention systems

+ Experience with vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and access control technologies.

+ Leadership in managing multiple projects that require collaboration with remote teams of SMEs and Technical staff

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

+ Requires strong emotional intelligence

Security Clearance Requirements:

+ TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

+ Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the NCR

+ Ability to travel within the NCR to visit various physical customer locations
