Texas Health Resources seeks to hire a Storage Technician III to work full time in their IT Storage Department.

Salary range is Min. $43.05/hr. to Max. $64.47/hr. – based on relevant experience
+ Full Time; 1 st Shift
+ Responsible for managing the storage infrastructure and data recovery for THR. Develops, manages and forecasts capacity requirements based on business needs and IT infrastructure growth capacity.
+ Responsible for Storage Area Networks and Storage Engineering to include: Inter-operability, fiber infrastructure, replication, operational recoverability, storage masking, fiber channel transitions, storage routers, remote sources and service level design.
+ Oversees server initiatives and workload to ensure service delivery goals are met. Mentors less experienced staff and serves as highest level escalation.
+ Project Support including customer engagement, storage resource analysis, provisioning, performance tuning and improvement,
+ This role will provide a combination of virtual and onsite support to multiple Texas Health locations including our hospitals and clinics.
**The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field required or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
+ 5 years IS related experience including experience with operating systems, systems software and management tools, and hardware required. Healthcare experience preferred.
+ 5 years Storage Area Networks and Storage Engineering experience highly preferred
+ Isilon experience highly preferred
+ Must have PC skills
+ Verbal and written communications skills and the ability to make decisions, plan, schedule and organize work
