The Manager of Process Informatics in Andover Site Technical Services oversees a team of informatics scientists, engineers, and technicians and has responsibility over the Andover site informatics systems and programs supporting product lifecycle management, new product introduction, validation, continuous improvement, investigations, and technical troubleshooting. The incumbent has responsibility over the informatics strategy and implementation that supports the Andover site informatics infrastructure.
+ Manage team of informatics scientists, engineers, and technicians responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining informatics systems and solutions
+ Create and maintain informatics programs and systems meeting or exceeding contemporary board of health expectations while conforming to applicable industry and Pfizer standards.
+ Establish and maintain site informatics infrastructure necessary to support process lifecycle planning, process/method monitoring and improvement, process validation and continued process verification, investigations, knowledge management, manufacturing intelligence, inspections, regulatory submissions, and other board of heath queries
+ Develop and execute site informatics strategy and implementation plan in collaboration with site/network stakeholders including Pfizer Digital
+ Develop and maintain business processes for the design, introduction, and configuration of informatics systems to support and complement technology transfer, new product introduction, and product launch at the Andover site
+ Site owner and head administrator of key informatics systems including laboratory information management system (LIMS) and process analytics/manufacturing informatics management systems
+ Actively engage in talent planning and colleague development for STS and the incumbent's organization
+ BS in Science or Engineering is required
+ 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical or informatics industry experience is required
+ Prior managerial and / or team leadership experience is required
+ Broad knowledge or experience in biologics drug substance R&D, testing, or manufacturing
+ Broad knowledge or experience in biologics product lifecycle management and global regulatory requirements
+ Knowledge and experience in statistics or applied statistics in industry settings
+ Technical knowledge in LIMS, process analytics, and manufacturing information management systems
+ Demonstrated ability to lead or build teams for complex technical projects involving risk management
+ Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization
+ Ability to perform mathematical calculations, scientific computation, complex data analysis, verbal communication, written communication
