**Description**

The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking an individual with Project Integration experience to provide expertise in all aspects of the complete project management lifecycle, including assistance and recommendations to FAA management that directly affect the conduct and attainment of agency goals.

This position, located in Anchorage, AK, will support Engineering Services in general implementation planning and operational integration involving National Airspace System (NAS) modernization by providing planning, organizing, and executing methodologies required to deploy the FAA Network Enterprise Services (FENS).

The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) Program. FENS is the successor to the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract, which was implemented in 2002 to provide over 30,000 communications services to more than 4,500 facilities within the National Airspace System.The program aims to design, build, operate, and maintain the FAA's next-generation communications platform and to build a dynamic, highly available and secure enterprise network to support all the agency's mission-critical applications across the NAS.

**Primary responsibilities:**

+ Maintaining a project portfolio for FENS telecommunications projects

+ Develop and evaluate requests for proposal.

+ Initiating, reviewing, and tracking operational risk management activities.

+ Participating in weekly and monthly telecoms.

+ Creating and maintaining project schedules/funding.

+ Track schedules, progress, and conduct site coordination.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ BS and 4+ years’ experience in telecommunications systems design, review, installs and project management, OR a Masters' Degree and 2+ years of similar experience. Additional years of related work experience can be substituted for a degree at the hiring manager's discretion.

+ Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Power Point.

+ Ability to support customer with tracking processes, cost determinations, schedules, and technical impacts of changes.

+ Ability to represent customer in meetings and other activities dealing with both inside and outside of the department.

+ Ability to work well with engineering and management staffs including external organizations to ensure timely follow up and on-time project completion.

+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one **must** be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the **past 3 years** **of the past 5 years consecutively** with no breaks).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with FAA, FAA Corporate Work Plan, and industry standards with regards to telecommunications systems and designs.

+ Experience in Operational Risk Management, Advanced Excel knowledge and skills, Strong communication skills.

**Pay Range:**

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
