Job Description

Job Summary: Provides administrative and technical support for all aspects of Mission Hospitals' nursing continuing education programs, the American Heart Association Mission Training Center, Nursing Policy and Procedure files, Nursing Web pages, and nursing in-service programs. The functions include building and maintaining classroom files through the Learning Management system, collating and distributing evaluations, scheduling and related systems as needed, and maintaining and supporting use and availability of hardware and software for presentations., as well as supporting nursing's presence on MOD-The hospital intranet.

Required Education: Associates degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred License: Certified Administrative Professional

Required Experience: Five or more years of progressive administrative, office management, or executive secretarial experience, or equivalent combination of experience; proficiency in personal computer skills, word processing, spreadsheet and other standard office software applications; office management; excellent organizational skills; excellent communication and writing skills

Preferred Experience: Experience in healthcare-related field. Working knowledge of medical terminology; working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Captivate, and other related software programs; experience with a variety of multimedia hardware and software programs
