Job Description

DeRoyal, delivering high quality medical products and innovative healthcare services, is actively searching for a Computer Operator to work second shift at our corporate office in Powell, TN. Working hours for this opportunity are: M-F 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The ideal candidate will be responsible for successfully running company processing each night. The candidate must be able to have excellent attention to detail, as well as, have the ability to work independently with little supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and excellent customer service to DeRoyal associates needing technical assistance at that time.


Some additional responsibilities include:

  • Performs routine nightly processing as directed by detailed documentation.
  • Runs, prints and distributes reports electronically and physically.
  • Replaces toner and maintenance kits on printer when prompted.
  • Answers after-hours Help Desk calls and provides customer support.
  • Accurately performs multiple tasks in parallel, sequentially and with detailed dependencies.
  • Ability to identify and assist with issues as necessary.
  • Ability to work on helpdesk related projects as assigned by Manager


The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or a minimum of one-year related experience and/or training. Must possess a professional customer-focused demeanor, as well as, an ability to work with others This position requires effective problem solving/troubleshooting skills, Help Desk experience, excellent verbal communication, phone skills, customer service, quality focus, and PC Proficiency.
