An Asheville area defense contractor is currently seeking help with electronic assembly and final assembly of equipment that is used by our military and civilian law enforcement personnel to defeat IED''s.
Our client designs and manufactures specialized equipment that is used by civilian police agencies as well as military teams to defeat IED''s. Their equipment is present on 80% of the robots used in this effort in the United States. Their products are the most reliable equipment available and are backed by a guarantee that is unique in the industry.
Job responsibilities include:
Assembling finished circuit boards into cases
Assembling small electronic parts onto circuit boards
Documenting test results and procedures
Light machining (drill press, belt sander, band saw, bench grinder)
Meeting quality standards
Quality workmanship is our top priority
Basic electronics knowledge
Enthusiasm and strong work ethic
Attention to detail
High degree of focus and patience
Able to read a schematic
Prior experience assembling and testing electronic circuit boards
Experience with surface mount components
Degree in EET
Schedule is Monday through Friday $14/hr to $17/hr DOE. 40 hours a week. Day time hours.
