The employee in this position helps the Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning ( IREP ) to coordinate and manage the collection and dissemination of planning and assessment data.
Duties include: managing the software component of the campus Student Feedback on Instruction ( SFI ) process, fulfilling data requests for admissions guides and ad hoc requests, assisting in collecting data for student learning assessment and survey purposes, providing office administrative support (budgets, procurement, scheduling), and supervising student workers.

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience working with assessment, evaluation, or planning software.
Demonstrated experience successfully executing a large-scale project, from conceptualization through completion.
Ability to take direction, assume increasingly independent responsibility, and provide appropriate follow up on project-based work.
Experience organizing, analyzing, generalizing key insights, and reporting data to a variety of stakeholders
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Affinity and experience working with large data sets
Experience using Microsoft Excel manipulation techniques ( VBA , pivot tables, complex formulas)
Prior experience working with faculty and staff related to assessment.
Work Schedule and Hours
Typical University business hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends may be needed to meet the needs of the department.
