Job Summary: Provides spiritual consultation, assessment, emotional support and clinical pastoral care to patients, families and hospital staff. Provides administrative support to the department director and serves as liaison for area clergy. Assists in pastoral and community related activities.
Required Education: None
Preferred Education: Master's degree in theology from an accredited theological institution. One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent training.
Required License: Must have one of the following: Ordination or Vowed Religious or Ecclesiastical Endorsement Commission. Consideration is given to the varied ways in which faith communities recognized formal roles in ministry
Preferred License: None
Required Experience: One-year experience in health care chaplaincy.
Preferred Experience: Three to five years of pastoral experience preferably in health care.
