Salary: $30,000+

OVERVIEW

They are looking for strong administrative support for the sales team. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for administrative support to the team in growing the business, maintaining business relationships and assist as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Attends daily production meeting and reports production updates to Sales team
  • Creates, updates and distributes dealer/distributor price lists and order forms
  • Handles dealer and customer requests for pricing and availability of products
  • Works with Territory Managers to assemble and process dealer paperwork
  • Handles logistics for Sales Department meetings and events
  • Manages Sales Department demo units and promotional merchandise
  • Manages dealer mass mailings (ex: termination letters, dealer yearly contracts, MOU for distributor service centers)
  • Assembles Dealer Sales and promotional materials and prepares for shipment
  • Manages Sales Department PTO log
  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions
  • Forwards samples by entering request; coordinating with accounting; arranging shipment; notifying customer
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Provides customer service regarding products and services or transfer to a TM
  • Provides back-up phone support for Office Manager as needed
  • Provides back-up for Order Processing
  • Contact person for dealers when Territory Managers are traveling or on PTO
  • Monitor individual PayPal transactions and daily transfers into bank account
  • Handling all industry accommodation orders, set up the order, process, and send customer tracking
  • Processing any inventory adjustments (ex: blue sheets and wrong items shipped to customers)
  • Submit to Accounting Distributor Credits for gear sold to international customers every month
  • Keep the Lead Time Report up to date
  • Assist Territory Managers on any projects or tasks they need help with

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Good interpersonal skills. Works well with others in an open-plan department.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Customer service driven with a professional telephone manner
  • Proficiency in standard office productivity tools such as Office 365 required.
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and ERP systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic musical instruments, music industry experience a plus


Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. $30,000+ DOE.
