Job Description

A VIP Ambassador is a representative of the hotel, specializing in customized guest service. It is their responsibility to encourage a courteous, honest, reputable and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the coordination of VIP stay from pre-arrival/arrival to departure
  2. Acts as a liaison between VIP guests and Resort
  3. Prepare and distribute amenity requests
  4. Completes VIP coordinator checklist
  5. Follow-through on all VIP requests
  1. Follow-up on guests concerns and complaints
  2. Inspect VIP rooms
  3. Work closely with housekeeping to ensure VIP status on rooms
  4. Work with Rooms controller to block rooms appropriately based on guests' requests.
  5. Keep in close contact with past guest and future guests to ensure their stay is memorable.
  6. Other tasks as assigned by management.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following.
  1. Assist Front Office at peak times

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Must have previous experience in a front office or hotel position.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Must have great attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
