A leading Logistics company in the Pooler area is seeking an experience Customer Service Representative for a broad range of duties within the organization. The individual with work with a team to ensure all the functions of the CSR are being completed. The CSR's complete all customer service activities regarding inquiries and order processing with regards to customer's product. They also investigate and respond to all special service requests, complaints and inventory control issues. This is an evaluation hire position. Client does provide full range of benefits once hire on period has been reached.

Duties/Responsibilities: * indicates essential function of the job
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers and their customers by responding in a professional, efficient and timely manner to all inquiries and complaints concerning receipts, shipments, invoices, and inventory. *
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse personnel and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and the customer regarding invoicing or procedural changes. Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction. *
  • Duties include but not limited to phone detail, greeting visitors, scheduling/prioritizing service activities to meet the customer expectations and other clerical duties as directed. *
  • Process orders and verify inbound receipts for accuracy. Run stock reports to check for product availability and accuracy of inventory records. Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for all paperwork associated with merchandise receipts and orders, and maintain the corresponding files. *
  • Coordinate any special, last minute shipping requests with operations management and expediting any orders as necessary. Follow up with other departments to ensure that service standards are being met. *
  • Trace orders as required and notify customers of any activity concerning their merchandise or expected level of service. Furnish shipping and tracing information to customers as required. *
  • Assure proper and timely invoicing of accounts and verify computer generated invoices. *
  • Maintain damage records and back-order logs. Handle returned merchandise in an efficient and timely manner and assure proper documentation and /or credit is issued to the customer. *
  • Maintain a current and accurate procedure book which details the processing, service standards and reporting requirements of each account. *
  • Correspond directly with the customer as needed via telephone, fax and/or email in a courteous and professional manner. *
  • Maintain high level of attendance and report for work on time daily. Work required over time as required by supervisor, have flexibility to work other shifts as required by supervisor, availability for Saturday and Sunday if necessary.
  • Comply with all OSHA Standards and utilize the Material Safety Data Sheets as needed. Comply with all Company work rules, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and work area to meet sanitation standards of Company, adhere to all Good Warehousing Practices and Food Safety Guidelines, examples: cleaning up spills promptly, clean as you go, no cross contamination of products, not shipping damaged product, no eating or drinking in the warehouse.
  • Comply with all Hazard Assessment Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and control points.
  • Work with supervisor and all warehouse staff to ensure the security of the building by questioning anyone who is in the warehouse without a security badge.
  • Maintain a professional attitude among co-workers and visitors to the facility.
