Housekeeping

Keeps common areas (such as lobby, restrooms, offices, and recreations areas) in a neat and clean condition. Ideal candidate is self-motivated, promotes a positive image of the property to residents and would be pleasant and friendly.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms. Maintains stock and supplies as needed.
  • Cleans and maintains community rooms and banquet halls.
  • Vacuums, sweeps, mop, scrub, waxes, and polishes floors.
  • Empties ashtrays and urns.
  • Polishes furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuums and polishes elevators.
  • Keeps the property free from trash.
  • Reports any problem areas to supervisor and or Property Manager.
  • Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment which he is using i.e., Vacuum cleaner, trolleys, Scrubbing machine. Maintains housekeeping carts.
  • Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas.
  • Other janitorial duties as assigned.

Experience
  • 2+ years of similar housekeeping experience
  • A positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Enthusiasm and energy
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, stop, kneel, and bend.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to read and comprehend and carry out simple instructions
