EEG Technologist Registered PRN

Position Summary :

Under the general direction of the department director or supervisor, performs patient care at the primary facility or off-site facilities. Responsible for electroencephalographic (EEG) testing, intra-operative neuromonitoring (IONM), Evoked Potential (EP) recordings and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) . Other responsibilities include performance of EKGs, equipment calibration and maintenance, clerical duties such as record keeping, charge entry, charge audits, educational in-services and other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements :

Education: Must meet CNIM eligibility standards (R. EED T., R. EP T., RNCST or a Bachelor’s degree)

Licensure/ ABRET CNIM (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) Credential required within 1 year of initial training completion (150 NIOM cases completed)

Certifications: Current BLS certification

Experience: EEG/INOM experience preferred.
