PMHNP Position at Mission Hospital

PRN

We have an excellent PRN opportunity for a PMHNP to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina . The primary focus of this position is with the consultation and liaison psychiatry service, with some inpatient coverage responsibilities.

The Program includes:

  • Two Adult Units and one Geriatric Inpatient Unit totaling 40 beds
  • Psychiatric Consultation coverage for Mission Hospital, totaling 800 beds
  • Structured outpatient program with group therapy focus
  • 14 Bed Emergency Department Psychiatric Evaluation Area
  • Active ECT Program
  • Serves on a team with 10+ Psychiatrists and Advanced Practitioners to manage Behavioral Health patients.

Copestone, a service of Mission Hospital, provides a pathway towards mental health. Established over 25 years ago, we are the only inpatient psychiatric unit in Buncombe County. We provide short-term inpatient care for those who need crisis stabilization, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient services. Copestone provides services to adults, adolescents and children. We also offer a 24-hour emergency evaluation and referral service.
