Job Summary: Assists EVS management and EVS supervisors in the the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping services including, but not limited to, staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training. Functions as a primary contact for all Environmental Service needs during the shift. Ensures that EVS services are provided in a timely, consistent and collaborative manner while ensuring standards and procedures are followed. Role requires 8-Hours Hazardous Waste Management -Awareness Training (40CFR 265.16) and DOT manifest training as a Haz- mat employee.

Required Education: High School Degree or GED

Preferred Education: Associates Degree

Required License: None

Preferred License: Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH) or Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH)

Required Experience: 3 years or more of Healthcare housekeeping experience, or 6 or more years in the hopsitality sector. Experience with bed Management software such as Teletracking, Epic or others. Experience with checking and inspecting, and evaluating environmental cleanliness in rooms both by observation and through evidence based testing of surfaces using devices, products, and or processes (ATP meters, fluorescent gel products/ UV lights). Role requires 8-Hours Hazardous Waste Management -Awareness Training (40CFR 265.16) and DOT manifest training as a Haz- mat employee.

Preferred Experience: Bilingual Skills. Experience managing culturally diverse groups of staff. Experience with JCAHO, Department of Health, or other regulatory auditing agencies. Experience in floor care cleaning- cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, finishing of hard floors. Hot water extraction, spotting, cleaning and interim surface cleaning (bonneting) of carpets/ or has program certification with an accredited cleaning agency such as the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, Restoration Certification (IICRC).
