Role Summary: An Occupational Therapist who has graduated from an accredited OT program who is able to evaluate patients, develop care plans to treat patients, uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care and communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement. May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department.Must be a Certified Hand Therapist with a strong background in treating a wide variety of upper extremity diagnoses, including post-surgical trauma, orthopedic, and rheumatologic disorders. Advanced skills in fabricating custom static and dynamic splints are essential. Must be able to develop relationships with surgeons and have a history of relationship development. Competent with documentation and billing issues related to inpatient and outpatient OT, UE/hand rehabilitation evaluations and treatments.

Required Education: Bachelor of Science degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Required License: Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy

Required Experience: Certified Hand Therapist, one or more years of UE and Hand Rehabilitation experience

Preferred Experience: Three (3)+ years of UE/ Hand Rehabilitation Experience
